Participatory storytelling with Buffalo's communities

Building on Thomas Allen Harris’ co-creative film/art practice and Family Pictures Institute for Inclusive Storytelling’s methodology, our team centers people directly in the community rather than talking heads.

John and Kristen welcomed us into their world, where we witnessed them in conversation with friends and fellow stewards who enact healing and resilience across healthcare, news media, food, and education.
